You couldn't be more far away from the truth. After a tragedy who ruined his life, Jackson Avery decided to leave Seattle... welcome in the new world of the new show 'NO REGRETS'.
PLOT
Jackson Avery had everything he wanted. A good job. A wonderful love story with a man who was also his mentor and his best friend. A lot of friends. Yes, Jackson Avery had a perfect life, the life that he always wanted. Then, one day everything changes. A plane crash ruined his life, taking away from him his true love: Mark Sloane. After Mark’s death he decided to move, leaving Seattle for Los Angeles. During a night shift in a new hospital, Jackson met a young guy name Samuel Scott. The young guy was brought there after a fight in a pub. Samuel liked Jackson right away and a couple of days later he came back just to see him and with an interesting and unusual proposal for the young doctor: becoming the doctor of his band ‘No Regrets’. Samuel promised Jackson an adventure on the road. Jackson works will be help Samuel and the other members of the band. Their manager call them a magnet for troubles, bruises, injuries of every kind and sometimes even some broken bones. After days of thinking, trying to figure out if he wanted to throw away his career in this way Jackson decided that he needed to try. He needed something new, something who reminded him why he wants to be a doctor. So in a couple of days Jackson found himself on a bus, heading for the first date of the band’s tour, surrounded by musicians, their problems and their hopes to become one day a famous and great band. While the bus was leaving Los Angeles behind, Jackson looked at Samuel and they smiled at each other: that the adventure begins!
CHARACTERS
SAMUEL SCOTT (Sebastian Stan)
He plays keyboards. Samuel, Sam for his friends, grew up in the Upper East Side of New York. The youngest son of a rich couple of musician, Sam was born with the music in his blood. But instead of follow a classic formation like his parents and his older sister, Sam turned his passion for the piano in a kind of new music. A mixed of gender, creating an incredible and new sounds. His parents wanted him to follow their steps and when Sam decided that he wanted to follow his dreams, his father put him in front of a choice: his stupid, silly dreams or his family. The day later, with only some moneys that his mother managed to give him and a lot of dreams Sam left New York for Los Angeles. He did a lot of little works and one night he met Carol in a pub and they become friends and with Carole and Steve, Sam decided to put together a band called No Regrets. Sam is a guy with a big heart, ready to help his friends in any way he can. He worked like factotum at the hotel of Steve’s parents. He has serious problems with alcohol.
CAROL O'DONNELL (Katherine Moennig)
She is the singer. Carol is an orphan, growing up in foster care. She always been a hard girl and she always says that she would love to be a man, that she has the spirit of a man, but she also loves to be a woman. When she was 16 she met a woman who changed her life. A nun who run a hostel for homeless. With nun Sarah, Carol learnt what means to have a family, someone who cares about you. Nun Sarah is the one who helped Carol discovered her great talent for the music and she always supported Carol with her dream to became a professional. She met Sam at the pub where she worked like waitress.
JASON HUME (Shemar Moore)
He’s the drummer. Jay is the son of a gospel famous singer. He grew up surrounded by music. His mother always invited her son to follow his dreams. He never met his father. When he was 20 he joined a gang and he ended up in a very bad road. He started to use drugs and enter and exit from jail. One day her mother met a man, a cop, and she felt in love with him. This man become the paternal figure that Jay never had and he helped his stepson to become a better person, teaching him to hit something else to let out his rage. He started to use the drum for a joke between he and his step-father and he discovered that like his mother he has the rhythm in his veins. He met Carol at the hostel of nun Sarah where he volunteer and Carol introduced him to Sam.
STEVE CLARKSON (Eric Christian Olsen)
He’s the guitarist. Steve is a son of Los Angeles. He grew up on the beach, surfing like first thing in the morning. His parents are good people, owners of a little hotel not far from the beach. He took his first guitar in his hands when he was only 5, thanks for a old man who was a costumer of his parents. From that day he never stopped to play his music everywhere, mostly on the street for the persons who wanted to hear him. Sam heard him play his guitar one night and they started talking of music and dreams becoming best friends at the point that Steve’s parents gave Sam a work and a room at the hotel.
GEORGE ROSS (Kyle Chandler)
Manager. George worked in a big music corporation till the day in which he realized that his bosses stopped to believe in good music, pushing band of little girls and guys just to have fan and more money. He decided to open a little music store on Venice. One night he went out with some friends, ended up in the pub where Sarah worked. Every Friday night the owner of the pub proposed live music and after a couple of night he hired the No Regrets for good, realizing that their music was loved by a lot of customers. When George heard the No Regrets the first time he realized the potential of the band, the passion that they put in every note and in every words of their songs. He spend one month studying the guys and one day he introduced himself to Sam, proposing himself like a manager. The guys accepted because they needed someone with experience in the music field if they wanted to become someone.
