To be sincere I never tought at this three like a triangle, but they're the first three persons who crossed my mind when I read this question so I decided to use them. I have no idea if there's someone out here who believe that they could be a triangle, what I know it's that for me it's impossible even think at the idea. I loved what Ted said in the pilot about the fact that before Marshall's proposal it was about Ted, Marshall and Lily. After the proposal though, it was all about Marshall and Lily, and then Ted. Another true story. No one can be between Marshall and Lily in my opinion, not even Ted. He's their best friend, and this is what he's suppose to be forever :D
