2008
Dear 2008,
As we get ourselves ready to bid our goodbyes to you, I have nothing but nice things to say.
You've been very very good to me this year. You've introduced 2 new AWESOME friends to me at the right time. They always cracked me up and we just have this stupid and weird chemistry. Unfortunately, you have not done your job in keeping my other friends nearer to me. Maybe that's my fault because I was too occupied with school to even initiate a meet up. Friends, I am sorry.
You were too kind to let me have my driving license before Hari Raya too. And I will try my best to improve my driving skills and be a careful and vigilant driver (and not to beat a red light. heh).
Although this year has been rough on the pockets and wallets, I am definitely thankful to get a job that I absolutely love. Even if I have to bring work home, the people there are honest and sincere. They do not mind in teaching you the right way, eventhough you made countless mistakes.
You were all about new beginnings and I have absolutely enjoyed myself. It was truly a "it's my year" year and I saw things in different perspectives now. I hope I have prepared myself to welcome the big big BIG 2-1 next year and also welcome 2009 with open arms.
Finally, this is to us, what a great way to part ways, 2008. I truly wished it wouldn't end here.
