getting older is the biggest mind fuck ever

Life is great.  I live in a wonderful apartment for cheap with an amazing boyfriend who does cute things like surprise me with flowers.  My summer job is SO COOL and the pay is pretty good.

But all I really want is a house and a husband so that in a few years I can be a mom.

And I just don't see how it's even remotely possible to have that.

pfft. Money schmunny. Everybody thinks weddings are more important than marriages. It's a big, fat scam. I'll bet you your shoes that you could do a wedding for $1,000 if you wanted, papers and all.

I think I have to agree with Ms. twistpeach. Money is not a major factor in a wedding. Really for a perfect wedding you need yourself and your fiance and an officiant and that is all. It is nice to add the trappings, but they really are just trappings. On the other side sounds like you are loving life, so why not just relax and enjoy where you are at?

A house on the other hand... that does require money. My thought there: Your first house doesn't have to be your dream house. Maybe realestate is much cheeper in VT but there is NO WAY we could have afforded that much land here. Not for another 7 years at least.

My ultimate dream/goal is actually to just buy the land and build an off the grid house, so I'm more willing to wait on that so I can, you know... learn how to build a house, hahaha.

Things are great... I'm just getting all these weird feelings about turning 25 this summer.

How long till the wedding? Are you insanely excited??

25 is really not so bad. I can't say it has had any particular significance in my life.
