So much to say, and yet so little. I'm too busy LIVING my life to sit around and write about it. Oh well, here's the synopsis:
- Everything's pretty fabulous.
- I've gone snowshoeing twice in the past 2 weeks and I might go again tomorrow!).
- I switched gyms so now I can actually GO to the gym daily (well, mostly daily) and that's been wonderful, although I haven't lost any weight (GRR). Miles joined too, which is nice because, well, he's MOTIVATING. I've also seen a former camper, a student, and a gym buddy from my last gym there as well. COOL!!! I treated myself to some new workout wear today :-P
- My dad finally started exercising. YAY! It's about time!!
- I finally got to see Nick again on Friday; we went to see Dark Knight at the Majestic. I also informed him of the glory that is Crash Pad, made him corn chowder, and we watched some Wolf's Rain and crazy stuff on the internet.
- I took Miles to see Video Games Live for his birthday. We also went to Norwich to visit the King Arthur Flour bakery-store and the Montshire Museum, which was SO MUCH FUN. Miles loved the King Arthur Store and has been baking lots of bread lately... which makes me very happy because I know he loves doing it. He also came over for dinner, and while there are pics aplenty of that whole weekend, I haven't had time to do anything with them. Point is, I spoiled him rotten, and it was wonderful... he's wonderful.
- Work is still great, although this past week felt SO BLOODY LONG, even though it was only 4 days.
- There's a new president, one I don't particularly feel like punching in the face. That's cool. But my expectations aren't really that high, either. Long story.
- I need new glasses.
- I finally stopped shirking responsibilities re: Peer Review. GO ME.
- I've been reading incredible books. Recommended: No Country for Old Men, The Savage, and ABC of Anarchism
- Jeremy's back in my life on the regular and that's the best thing I could ask for.
- Lillie and Miles are playing fiances in a local production of Dracula, which I think is stupendous. The problem is I don't know to whom I'm supposed to give flowers after opening night.
- I managed to slice off a thin, inch-long strip of my skin while shaving today, and it still stings. I have no idea how I managed it, but it fucking HURT and bled for about thirty minutes.
- Today felt off to me, but after some exercise and some hair dye, it was all better!
I hope you all are doing well... let it be known that while I'm not commenting much, I AM still reading :)
