OMFG, so you know how you'll wish for something that seems totally impossible/implausible, and then it actually happens?
My friend Dave called & said we were going out for drinks at our favorite bar. But when I got there, John the Bartender said, "Happy Birthday, Birthday Girl!" and I knew something else was going on. Then, someone hugged me from behind and said, "Surprise!"
OMFG, it was Sherry (Best Friend)!!! Sherry and her husband, who now live on the other side of the country, flew to SoCal to surprise me for my b-day.
Seriously, I haven't cried this hard since she move back east. I'm still a little stunned about it all. I mean, holy motherfucker, she flew from Virginia to SoCal for my birthday!!! How the hell do I top that?! Like I told her, I've got 7 months to figure out how to top this for her next birthday. Planning a trip to Disney World doesn't seem exciting enough now.
She also told me that bigboobedcanuck knew about the surprise. Kudos for keeping it secret!!! Sherry thanks you for your willpower :)
We're off to Disneyland, because it's what we do and OMG, I haven't been since April. I know that her ride -- Pirates of the Carribean -- is now Super Captain Jack-tastic, but I've heard that my ride -- The Haunted Mansion -- has also been tweaked. Gah! Wish us the best! Also, feel free to start a pool on which ride we'll get stuck on. Y'all know it's gonna happen.
juliedarling, we'll talk about Laguna Beach soon, hopefully tomorrow. (I've already seen the next ep.) I've never watched the first two seasons, so I'm interested in what you think of the new cast. And OMG, I'm trying to not read Hamster Time for BB7 updates... but what the hell is going on?!

But then he professes love for Amy Sedaris and Charlotte Rampling, and says, ''I wish I had a nickel for every scrape and scratch and bruise and bandage - oh wait, I do!'' Seriously, I'll brawl, but only if we stick to girlie windmills ;)
