According to Allure, (fuck the other magazines' so-called experts), pro makeup artists prefer Maybelline & CoverGirl mascaras to pricier ones. My theory is, when they say they use Dior or Chanel's mascara, it's because they 1) are contracted by that company or 2) technically used it because it was supplied for free, but it's not their brand of choice.
I didn't get to my Mecca today, though I'm planning to go tomorrow :) Heh, my mom has the same reaction to Sephora. She acts like she wants to go, but once we're there, its "Okay, get your stuff & pay for it already so we can leave." That's when I remind her that letting her sister babysit me possibly led to my makeup love.
Pick up the She-Laq when you go back. Not to go all peer pressure on you, but seriously, it works.
I got another Showtime at the Apollo tonight. Which is fine, but I'm tired of captioning this show. And I might not get DH all to myself :( Depends on scheduling & how hard the new shows will be. BTW, your card will be late. Sorry :(
