Yay, I got my Comic Con registration!

I'm back! My brain finally recovered from the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Allison gave me to practice on. OMG, this ep is truly the hardest thing I've ever captioned, and Ty's not even in it. Yay, we'll have to meet up! You get to pick the place, since last time we got lucky & saw Rosenbaum ;)

Fenwic's picking me up along the way, so we'll be there either Thursday or Friday. (She's waiting to hear what days she has off.) Are you going for all four days?

no.. probably only for one... most likely friday. if i go for more than one, it'll be friday and saturday.

ooh, and a fennie, too? how did i get so lucky!

Heh, Fennie e-mailed me one day with, "So... Comic Con?" And that's all it took to convince me :)

Now we're waiting to find out which tv shows, films & actors will be there. Do they release that info close to the convention's start?

yeah, last year it was ~10days before. so, within the next couple of weeks...

i'm guessing joss is going to be there, but for comic book stuff.. i will fall over if he's there for wonder woman. they will more than likely have some sort of HP5 thing, and i'm betting a good number of cw shows will make an appearance (in fact, i'd be shocked if vmars and supernatural weren't part of the deal). the lost guys always seem to be there...those are my guesses right now. :)

lots of genre writers there, too. good times!

I can't believe that I didn't think of the Supernatural boys until the other day. They weren't there last year, but with the new network and DVDs coming out in September... Somebody also mentioned VM, which would be fab. I was also wondering if Vanished is "genre" enough to merit an appearance? If Gale shows (doubtful, I know) then I'll have met or seen all my TVBFs in person, heh.

Also, I actually do have some comic books, heh. All 5 of the Lex Luthor: Man of Steel series. I'll have to see who created them...

bsg also might be in attendance to drum up support for season 3. hmm! i'm also wondering what new shows are coming out... whee!

escap1974 emailed to let me know that Gigi Edgley (Chiana on Farscape, did you watch?) is going to be there, and spec'd that we might see some Stargate and BSG folk might show as well. I'd love to see Browder & Black. Also, Bamber & Co., natch. It's all good! From everything I've heard, there will be more than enough to see and do :)

oh man, did i watch farscape. and i actually saw browder and black at comiccon two years ago. the big trick is going on the day when you'll get to do most of the stuff you want... which is usually saturday. but they've been known to throw some stuff on fridays, especially since saturday tends to be comic book movie celebrity extravaganza day (creating what i affectionately call the Ninth Circle of Hell).

bsg was there last year, but i hadn't watched the show yet, so i did not attend... also i was busy standing in line for my HP6 book! ;)

What about movies? Do you think they'll do anything for Spider-Man 3? I heard they might reveal the fourth villain.

And OMG, yay, I'll be able to fangirl without feeling too old or dorky!

You're not the only one. I thought the SPN boys would be promoting the show Europe until filming began. OMG, we'll be able to add another TVBF to our pic collection!

If Vanished isn't genre enough but VM is, is there a chance PB could be there? I know they're filming, but I can dream ;)
