YAY!!! fenwic sent me a postcard from Budapest! Thank you! It's so beautiful. The sky's clear and the Danube looks so serene & blue. I'll have to add Budapest to my mustivisit list :)
BTW, I'm watching one of fenwic TVBFs, Michael Rosenbaum, in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. His hair's the same length as when we saw him, but he's wearing nicer clothes, handling a gun and doing the Lex voice. Mmmm, hot!! (When did I start to think boys with guns were hot? Oh, when I saw Han Solo for the first time.) One character calls MR's character a skank who looks like an '80s clichè. Very true, but he's still hot. Let me know if anyone needs the ep.
Something I saw late last night that didn't look weird at all: a Bentley taking the exit for the Port of L.A. [The port is actually in Long Beach, since L.A. is really landlocked.] Also not weird: a license plate I saw that read LA TO NY. Bicoastal? Los Angeles, Toronto, New York?
Speaking of L.A., TO, and NYC, I finally bought my ticket! And for once my procrastination really paid off, because it was a little cheaper than last week. Question for those who've flown into/out of JFK: any suggestions on how to kill 1 1/2 hours? Or will I need that time to find the gate for my next flight? And advice for going through Customs?
The lovely bigboobedcanuck has created a site for Veronica/Logan fans, Epic is the Watchword. You don't have to be an "OMG, their luv is sooo true!!" type of fan. Like Boobs explains in this post, it's not about wanting happy/lovey/kissy scenes. It's about showing fans more V/L scenes instead of giving us their relationship in flashbacks and spending too much time on Jackie & the Fitzgeralds.
ETA: I kinda skimmed over the details while rushing to get ready. The site was actually created by nm973 and dtissagirl. Boobs get credit for being a great pimp :)
I had other stuff to post about (my newest makeup discoveries/love; sunless tanners - anyone know of a good cheap one?; etc.), but it's tiime to get ready for work.
