"Why is there no pumpkin in my risotto?"
Yesterday was such a blah day, I couldn't even manage to upgrade it to meh. I had to rewatch Hell's Kitchen for amusement. OMG, Mr. Pumpkin Risotto was such a tool: "There's no pumpkin in it. This is like ordering risotto with no rice!" Eh, no. It's more like the time I went to Starbucks and they'd run out of coffee. You just roll your eyes & ask for an acceptable substitute. Dude, you got your 15 minutes of fame; but was it worth looking like a dork?
And I already hate Tom the Sweaty Guy. Seriously, I can't look at him. How can someone sweat that much?! I also hate Salad Girl. Dear, you're not that cute. How'd you get a spot on this show? I really like Heather... which means she probably won't win.
Okay, everyone's seen the (spoilery?) pic of Gale Harold dressed up like Wyatt Earp, right? Good, bcause I'm not reposting ;)
Heh, I just realized that I graduated from high school 12 years ago today. (OMG, I'm old.) That means that 12 years ago yesterday, "someone" commited a crime of the century. When I first moved to SoCal, I had a doctor's appointment in Santa Monica. I took a wrong turn and somehow wound up lost in Brentwood. I suddenly felt a chill run down my spine & didn't have to check the street sign to know where I was. Ew. Man, I'm glad his crazy ass moved to Florida.

Work was so boring. I had the last 9 minutes of Horrible Dating Show, which featured the line, "I was tucking my wiener back in." (Yes, that wiener.) Um, WTF?! I'm not sure that's allowed on network tv.
Then I had to reformat/caption Showtime at the Apollo. Problem was, Mo'Nique wasn't hosting (I think she was on maternity leave), so Sinbad's supremely unfunny ass filled in. The guy just phones it in. He doesn't even form full sentences or pause correctly. It's like he's trying to get out of there ASAP. He makes me appreciate Mo'Nique's enthusiasm.
Hmmm, what else? Oh, my first Jeopardy! is on tonight. I know, Whoo. Hoo. But, IIRC, it's a good one :)
Since I'm kinda lazy right now & I've fallen behind on LJ, have I missed anything good other than the fandom wanking? And I keep thinking I was supposed to post or link to something. Any idea what I'm forgetting?
Time to get ready for work. Gah, it's supposed to be hot in the valley today. Despite using sunscreen, my left arm is at least two shades darker than my right arm. Looks like I'll need to get out the Fake Bake and try to even it out this weekend.
ETA: Has anyone tried the new LJ search feature or LJ Find? Are they worth checking out or lame or kinda stalkerrific?
