S1 of SV is best viewed through slash-tinted glasses. It's possibly the gayest show ever not featuring openly-gay characters. It's really a love story about a hot rich guy & a virginal teenage boy. (Just like B/J!) Oh, and no matter what happens, it's all about Lana. (She's their Michael; Pete is their Ted.)

What are you (or aren't you) looking for from SV? Would it help if I picked out the good/extremely gay eps for your viewing? ;)

Ah, poor Tom. He's married to a former model. (I think I have a pic of them.) But due to his reported dumbness (because hot men are supposed to be dumb), there's a long-standing rumor that Tom & wife have split. (A radio DJ asked Tom if anyone was at home with him. Tom said something like, "No, just me & the dog." It was interpreted as, "My wife left me but I got to keep the dog.")

And because Tom's so damn hot, he's rumored to be bi or gay. Probably because he & Rosenbaum (as are Clark & Lex) are always in a two-arm, full-body hug. Tom used to model for Ambercrombie & Fitch (w/Ashton Kutcher), so it's possible he's bi.

I only watched the first disc of season 1, but I just located disc 2, so I should try it out I suppose, since it's here and all. My main problem was the bug/mystery of the week and my lack of someone to ship. I don't really want Clark with Lana or Chloe. I did however, really enjoy the Clark/Lex interaction, that is what kept me watching.

Heh, nothing wrong with that! Seriously, it's surprising to hear that someone that hot is married or straight. Tommy's like a fantasy come true. Except for the being married part.

A lot of people think he's really vain, but I think it's the opposite since he's noticed for his looks more than anything. He & MR are hilarious in the commentaries. The three girls say (in the "Spell" commentary) that Tom loves acting like a dork & thinks Clark is a moron most of the time. OMG, what's not to love? He's like the hot guy friend who's also a dork. And OMG, I can't believe I thought that deeply about Tom Welling's thoughts.

Well, S1 is full ot Krypto Freaks of the Week, but there's plenty of Clark & Lex interaction to offset that. They're BFFs in S1 & 2; S3 is when it starts to crumble. And ITA about Clark not mixing well with Chloe or Lana. The only way to stomach those parts is to look for the gay ;)
