"Incidentally, when all this is over, I'd love to get the backstory on that name of yours."

Dude, last night's Scrubs killed me. Grandpa Kennel! ("You got a candy you can unwrap in a movie theatre.") Carla's reaction at the end nearly made me tear up. Nearly, because Lost and Grey's Anatomy have made me immune to music montages.

My TiVo's working overtime tonight. I captioned this week's George Lopez and Freddie again, so I have to record them. GL has Eva Longoria (in the 100th ep, I think) playing a Bridezilla. Freddie has porn star!Billie Reed/Desiree Atkins (Krista Allen) giggling instead of acting, killing all HoYay that crosses her path. (Though oddly enough, she enhanced the CLex on Smallville.) And then George-Michael and Maeby are on VMars. Fandoms collide! OMG, someone please tell me Alia Shawkat didn't really shave her head. That's so wrong.

Work has been pleasant, despite working on Extreme Makeover on Sunday. (Poor kelbelle ended up with the majority of that ep.) Captioned Showtime at the Apollo on Monday. (Yes, you read that right.) My Mo'Nique love carried me through a painful rendition of "Human Nature" and the shoutiest rap song ever.

I think I'm improving on Desperate Housewives, as I've shaved my time down to 10 3/4 hours. I can't say much about DH without ruining the jokes, but I can confirm that Lee Tergesen is back as Peter, Bree's A.A. sponsor [back for next week? can't say]. I swear there's a few Oz shoutouts, too: 1) Peter and Bree play chess; 2) Peter is wearing a light green t-shirt [coughjustlikeBeecher'scough]; 3) Peter reveals something random that's very S3 Oz; 5) Bree just might be the new Chris Keller, but without the homicidal tendencies. Watch it this Sunday & we'll compare Bree to Keller/speculate on Monday.

A little HoYay returns in the Bree-Lynette scenes. OMG, the hugging. Also, the Crumbs son not named Fred Savage and the coach/science teacher from Popular guest star. And while I may not care for Eva Longoria IRL, she's great in the upcoming ep; she killed me a teeny bit more than Carla on Scrubs.

Things Accomplished in the Last Five Days:

* Got stuck on Space Mountain with Best Friend while sitting in the front row. The ride slowed to a stop just before the last turn. No injuries, though they did turn on the lights, thus killing The Magic a little bit. But we got to ride it again, so yay! This brings our stuck-on-a-ride-at-Disneyland total to three: SM, Haunted Mansion (during the special Jack Skellington event), and Indiana Jones.

* Had picture taken with my favorite Disney villian, the Evil Queen from Snow White. She was hilarious & evil. She looked at BF's birthday sticker and said, "Oh, so it's your birthday, is it, [BF]? Good for you. Have you heard that I am the fairest in the land?"

* Completed rite of passage for women nearing 30: purchased very expensive skin cream. The Sephora employee (who didn't get commission) wanted me to try it so badly, she hooked me up with thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars in samples: Dr. Perricone's cleanser and moisturizer (so worth the price), RMX treatment, Murad treatments, Chanel foundation & concealers. The RMX Essential samples alone cost as much as the cream. And because it's Sephora, I can return the cream for a full refund.

* Replaced good portion of water in body with vodka. Later told fellow patrons at Lucky Strike Lanes that I secretly like Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together." Saved face by shouting/singing Motley Crue's "Dr. Feelgood" while bowling.

* Saw a car hood abandoned on the northbound 710. Okay, not really an accomplishment, but how often do you see a hood on the side of the road? I once saw four bumpers in one day (three rear, one the front of a brand-new Mustang), so the hood was pretty impressive.

* Caught up on An Hour with Mariska Hargitay SVU, through two eps ago. Dude, is Chris Meloni even on the show anymore? Or is it just my luck that the eps Buster 2 didn't delete were All About Oliska? Also caught up on VMars. Heh, I'd forgotten that Little Dick pinch-hit for the other team awhile back.

* Successfully put the whammy on UConn. I'm still basking in the glory of Duke's loss :)

* Have not punched Vishal in the face, though it's been close. Yes, Vishal, raccoons do bite, so you probably shouldn't try to pet the one that hangs out near yor building. No, Vishal, I didn't injure you when I tossed a pack of Post-its your way, you bitchass wimp. And yes, Vishal, I'm sad about Mitch Hurwitz's decision to end Arrested Development. But unlike you, I don't see how that compares to the loss of a loved one, nor did I get choked up about it. NOTE: I still have to watch the final AD eps. Don't bitch at me; I've been busy.

Off to get ready for work. If all goes well, I've got an entire day with Freddie with what might be the last two eps of the season. And damn it, they better be chockfull of gayness, or I'll kick Brian Austin Green's tattooed ass.

Don't forget that tomorrow is TVBF Day: Lex travels to Honduras to buy a sex toy for Clark (who says they've fallen out of love?); Sam & Dean carry shotguns (that shouldn't be hot, but it is).

hoyay-fest, omg lee tergesen!
