Sorry, Chris Meloni; you're no longer the Prettiest Crier on Tuesday Night. That title now belongs to The Ackles, a.k.a.,
sravenk's TV Boyfriend, whose tears in "Home" made me forget about the crapfest of "Bugs." Plus, he kicks down doors just like Boreanaz. Sigh. Dean is so hot, he makes my t.v. melt.
Oh, Cute!Dean, I was on the fence about claiming you as my TV Boyfriend. That shaggy hair is such a turn-off, and you were assy when you returned to Stars Hollow. But damn it, you're so adorable! Those rosy cheeks and dimples! Sam is so cuddly, I can't help myself. (I just want to hug him, then invite Hot!Dean over to share in the hugging.) OMG, you're sooo my new TVB. But stop growing facial hair; it reminds me of Duncan from VMars. I want to remember Sammy as the boy who shoved his brother's gun down his pants.
And please, JP, ask JAckles for lessons in super-gay photo shoot posing. Everyone will benefit from it.
I'm also in love with the Metallicar. Muscle car + two hot guys = Best Ride Ever. Also, if the Brothers Dean ever investigate that freaky suicide in Sacramento, I will squee so loud you'll hear me in Toronto. I will then cry, because Supernatural's "Sacramento" will look just like Vancouver.
"Home" was so creepy & good. Though I could've done without the hand grinding. (I'm already scared of putting my hand down the disposal.) Loved that it was included, but not the best scene to watch while eating lasagna.
I'm convinced Dean's hiding something from Sam, that he knows more than he wants to say about the night their mom died. And I've always thought something was "special" about Sam. Maybe the boys aren't full brothers, or related at all? (And then, Wincest won't be so creepy.)
LOVED Loretta Devine's character. Sassy black women improve shows ten-fold. (See: Mo'nique, old lady from 227, etc.) She's a great character actress & I wish she'd get more high-profile roles. Loved her use of the shining to call the Brothers Dean on their shit. If TPTB ever add a female character, please let it be Missouri.
VM and Lost can wait. (
mantaray, tonight's Lost is super-sized, right? I've got like 40 minutes left then.) Must rewatch this ep as soon as I get home!
I'm sad to say that, Ass of Life or not, things are shaky with my TV Husband. I barely see him anymore, and when I do, acts so out of character.
Watching SVU nowadays strains my brain, and not in a good "let's solve the crime" way. Seriously, I can barely remember what last night's ep was about. It's a rape case! It's a murder mystery! It's all about Terry Shiavo (again)! OMG, if you haven't read a newspaper in 10 years, this ep will catch you up to speed. [/puke] I was waiting for Maggie from SFU to fuck Superman until he had an aneurysm, anything to make the storylines interesting.
It's hard enough suspending belief & accepting Pod!Benson as canon. But fuck's sake, Crack Monkeys! When did Stabler become an office clerk? Will short-sleeved Elliot haunt me if steal his red Swingline stapler?
Does S7 Elliot Stabler = S7 Xander Harris?
I've worked on three eps of Laverne & Shirley this week, and two have made me tear up. Damn you, Michael McKean, for being equally funny & heart-wrenching. Lenny (Lone Wolf!) was always my favorite, but I'd forgotten how sweet he could be. First, he proposes to a possibly-pregnant Laverne (so her baby can have a last name and eventually receive mail); then he nearly breaks down while telling Laverne that he firefighter boyfriend (Ted Danson!) died on the job. Thankfully, the ep I had to reformat wasn't sad, though it was sad in an entirely different way: they moved to Burbank.
Yay, new VMars tonight! Sure, it looks corny and has a corny title, "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner" (which my sister thinks I should name my LJ). Wallace better come home tonight; fandom needs its BFF. If we see any domestic L/D scenes, I'll die & go to HoYay Heaven. Well, after tomorrow's surely super-gay Smallville.
If YSI will stop hatin' on me and do its job, I'll post a link for Supernatural ep 101 later today.
