Schools stay open, even if two feet of snow falls overnight.

HA! Once when I was going to school in Seattle, we had a 2 hour delay for a dusting of snow that was so light, it was more like frost XD

Your paycheck has an additional 10 percent deduction.

What's it for?

Dude, we drive over snowdrifts here. If you can still see your golf ball, you can still play. :-p

The ten percent is for tithing. They don't actually take it off your paycheck.

*snickers* We get fake snow. It only usually lasts overnight.

*nods* It's an option you can choose though?

I wish we got fake snow. I was born and raised in southern California. I still hate snow.

I don't really know, I never have. Usually we just take it right off the top when we deposit it. You can do the bill pay option at the bank and they'll automatically send out a check to the church. I haven't done that either, but I know people who have.

Srsly. I lived in Oceanside, which as the name cleverly points out, was right by the beach. We used to walk there every day. Now I live in the shadow of Mt. Timpanogos and get snowed on all the time. It snowed in May. May!

It's true.
