(no subject)
So, as if life wasn't shitty enough right now, tonight at ten thirty I got a call from some paramedics telling me that Cindy was in an accident. A bad one. My heart just about stopped.
So, I drive to the E.R. where I see my little sister covered in blood. She's on a freaking stretcher, there are cops buzzing around asking questions, but the blood on her face is so thick that she can't breathe through her nose, let alone talk.
Apparently some asshole ran a red light and hit the car in the lane next to hers. That car got flipped around and hit it Cindy head on. Her car is completely totaled, totally mashed, the engine was in the passenger seat for Christ sake. We got lucky, she doesn't have a concussion, and nothing is broken, she just has a couple of black eyes and a pretty bad burn from the seatbelt.
I'm still crashing from the adrenaline high, and I'm shaking like crazy.
I called my parents and left a message on my dad's phone, but I still haven't heard back. They're all probably in bed.
I really wish my mom was here.
