Family crap

Seriously that's all I've been dealing with for the past two days.
I suppose I should start at the beginning. My cousin is dating the nastiest man on the planet. He's exactly twice her age (she's 21, he's 42), he's older than her dad, he smokes like a chimney and I swear to God he's a rapist/pedophile. I'm only basing the last one on the way he looks at us (us being my sister, my best friend and I). It's creepy.
Anyway, long story short, Cindy doesn't like him and my cousin went whining to her mom, who went whining to my mom about Cindy being rude to him. It's bullshit because she's met the man three times and each time she's tried to engage him in conversation and he ignores her.
In fact, whenever he comes around, he sticks to her side like glue and won't make eye contact with anyone. Seriously, if you ask him a question, he gives you a funny look and goes back to staring at Athena while he answer. And his answers are usually monosyllabic. And the only time he's ever initiated a conversation was when we were doing a puzzle and he asked, in a tone, 'Haven't you finished that yet?'
It's a huge mess because the two of them live together, although since my cousin is mad, she's been staying with him and now they're not talking to each other, but they have plenty to say about each other to me.
And that makes me mad too, since I can't say a thing in defense of either of them to the other, because they both fly off the handle and get angry with me. I'll be the first to admit that I really don't like the guy and...actually, that's it. I'll be the first to admit that I don't like him.
*sigh*
Can the world just get back to get back to normal, already. Please. Please.
