So, I've had kind of a hectic day.
I woke up really early. Like, at the crack of dawn, because I had to dig out my car. After that I went to work for two hours! It was so darn slow, and I heard a worrying rumor about the studio being shut down because we're steadily losing business.
Anyway, I spent the afternoon home alone, which was nice, but it was also a bummer because everyone had gone up to see my brother, sister-in-law and niece and I didn't get to go.
After that we went grocery shopping for the my moms dinner party and cooked for the next three hours.
I was really worried, because I'd never cooked any of those things before, but everything turned out really well except for the dessert, which was a bummer. I didn't actually get to stay and see how it turned out (or take pictures like I promised) because I had to leave before the carrots, potatoes and the roast came out.
I got a last minute invitation to the ballet, the Nutcracker. It was so much fun. I've gone to see that every Christmas since we moved to Utah, so it's kind of a tradition. Normally, I go with two of my sisters and our old ballet teacher, but they didn't get tickets this year. After that I went to my other sister's house, where my four youngest siblings were and we played Curses all night.
It was all so much fun, we all had a blast.
