I was reading some old entries... This was part of one about the tournament at Spring Creek freshman year:
I slept until we got to Lovelock. We pulled into a gas station. It was quiet. I said, pretty loud, "I love you." He laughed. Rachel and Kyle asked me to get them a water. Rachel gave me a dollar and I owed Kyle one. I stepped off the bus. It STINKS in Lovelock. It's ridiculous. I run to the store so I can breathe again. The doors open automatically. It was pretty cool, I don't know why though... First, I see the beef jerky. I walk over. It's too expensive. I look around. There it is! The shelf I want to go to. Doritos! I grap a bag (normal size, the kind u get at school) of Salsa flavored and Salsa Verde. Then I see the bag of those White Cheddar Popcorn things. I'm like, hmm, should I, or should I not? I reach for it, and someone says to me, "Gafni, we're only an hour from home." So I didn't take them. Oh yeah, and I got three waters, one for me, one for Kyle, and one for Rachel. I have someone hold my stuff while I go to the bathroom. I buy my stuff and get it bagged. I start to walk out the door, take a breath, and start running. When I step on the bus, I say, "Ahh, fresh air!" I eat. It's good. Then I go to sleep again.

What the hell does "I said, pretty loud, "I love you." He laughed" mean?! Who was I talking to? Who do I love? I'm so lost...
