So...
Camping. In Montana. Was fun, actually. But there's not a whole lot to say about that.
Yesterday, like most everybody who lives in Pullman and Moscow- or so it seems-, I went to the celebration at the park. It turns out that I hung out with a variety of people throughout the night.
At first, I talked with Nick, Micah, and Samantha, however, I felt like an intruder, so when Lisette and Maddie appeared, I went off with them to meet Micheal D. Eventually, Chloe and Kelsey showed up, and then Alex S., Jimmy, and Kyle. We ate dinner- I actually ate red meat! GASP!- and then we went down to the pond. This whole sequence is kind of vague to me at the moment, because I know I left them a couple of times to go do other things, but I always came back.
All was well for a while. Chloe's little sister Sophia, who is five, I believe, obviously had a crush on Alex. It was so cute! She always sided with him in "arguements" and gave him plants that she picked from the stream. Chloe, Kelsey and I just sat around laughing because of it. It's interesting, because I haven't really talked with most of this group of people at all during the school year, except on rare occasion. But they are nice, and I'd like to get to know them better.
I was having fun, and then some people whom I really cannot abide began to show up, and I tried to find some excuse to leave. I hate to be so unaccepting of these people, but I think they are rude, crude, and annoying, and not very interesting. So when Eileen and Kat came and said hi, I went off with them.
However, soon Kat, who is unblamedly liked by all, ran into some people whom Eileen and I really don't know, so the two of us sat down on the grass and complained about our lack of social skills and how we are very boring in conversation. Clara at this time showed up, and we complained about the Kingpins and their awful cover music. After going on a ramble about the park, which was by this time jampacked with people, we went to go dance and ran into Chelsea Evans and her friend from music camp. We were by some people from school/BatB (Chelsea is also in BatB) and it was pretty fun.
We danced for a long time, then the group sort of broke apart. It was almost time for the fireworks, and I could not find anybody! Well, except for Micheal and Lisette, but as they were...rather occupied... I did not want to intrude.
Luckily, I was rescued by Meredith from BatB and she told me to come sit with her group. Her group, happily, was made up of many people that I happen to know and like! Donny, his boyfriend Micheal, Aubri, Tristen, Aubrey, and a bunch of people from the musical. These were Dustin Larson, Alex somebody, and George.
The fireworks were mediocre this year. Or maybe I'm just getting old.
Anyway, I have to go now. I'm going swimming in a little while.
