Just an essay to prove I've been thinking too much.

Okay, so... I'm getting kind of annoyed with my characterization of Delirium. And clearly I've put way too much energy into thinking about it. Because somehow I produced an essay.

Hmm, the way I see it is that she appears to people in the same context as their insanity was, if that makes sense. Like, for some people their insanity did require her to be a sparkly dancing fairy. And I do find your Del definitely creepy and disconcerting, but not overtly scary. But what I mean is, she might not be as scary to some people as she is to others because of the nature of their insanity. I hope that makes sense. I ramble.

Also, the reason Ros calls her Miss Delirium is because in her canon, people have names like Mysterious Woman and Hot-Blooded Young Man, based on Classification. (As you may have seen when Simon told her what Del was, she really wasn't aware Del was insanity, she just thought she was another traveller keeping her company)

That's true. About the everyone having a different sort of insanity, and Del appearing differently to each of them. Yes, it makes sense.

Oh, the thing about the names wasn't that I was being bothered by what people called her, it was just that I think I'm telling everyone my name to freely in the first place. But... interesting about your canon? Or, um. Weeeeird. And makes me giggle.

Oh! I'm glad I wasn't too incoherant, there! ♥

My canon is on crack. We have Apocalypse Goats and Sleazy Toads. Oh, and Flaming Rockmen. Yes.
I didn't think you were telling your name too freely! A lot of characters seem to have an idea about the Endless anyway, so I didn't think it was a problem, or something glaringly obvious!

...I love your Del, she's made of awesome.

You're welcome! ♥

Yes indeed. But at least they don't steal your cash like the Leering Seaweed do.
