Swancon 2015 presentation
I haven't done a presentation on anything other than books at Swancon for years. I was inspired by Damian Magee last year and have already started preparing a panel for next year - Just Imagine: costume in early SF films.
I intend to look at costume design in pre-1939 SF film; how a language of SF costume develops and it's relationship with real clothing at the times of the films production.
My main films will probably Voyage to the Moon; Metropolis, Just Imagine, Aelita; Flash Gordon and Things to Come, with reference to others as necessary.
