The heat is on in Saigon

Just purchased my tickets to Miss Saigon in Christchurch! So excited. Even though it's in the Gallery - I really couldn't even afford B reserve tickets. Plus, I'm shouting my brothers girlfriend to come with me. Can't wait. My flatmate has been playing it all afternoon. Haha. I've missed musical theatre. I swear the last one I saw was... I can't even remember? Probably Wicked!

I'm working on my lab report at present. It's due on Thursday before term ends, and it's worth 20%, but I have a test on the Wednesday before that on the theory behind Research Methods in Psychology (oh joy) for 20% as well... uh, 40% in two days?! But then I realized, hey, most of the course is actually marked internally! Because we have another lab report that is 30% and that makes the internal stuff up to 70%. So much easier!

I'm making meatloaf for dinner. Yum! So excited.

Hum, oh! Excitement for Idina and Taye! I'm so happy for them, it's wonderful news. They're going to be great parents. I want to send them a toy Kiwi but I don't think it's appropriate, so probably won't.

Easter on Friday! I'm staying in the flat over Easter, and then mum and dad are coming over on the ferry and staying for two nights... I can show them my flat, and I'm wanting to take them to the Monet exhibition (yes, the real Monet paintings are here at the moment). Te Papa is fun. It's starting to get cold now! But I love winter, and wrapping up warm. Daylights savings ends tonight though, which isn't so much fun... but hey! Extra hours sleep!

Ugh... I'm so busy these days. Someone should have warned me that second year was a big step up from first. I have friends in first and they keep complaining - what will they think next year?! Haha.
