sheesh! some people are so rude. If that was one of my kids I would have lectured the hell out of them. and as far as those guys in Target, forget thier ignorant asses. But perhaps a shirt would be a good idea. Very ummm, "tongue in cheek" as they say.
I am amazed that in this day and age people still feel free to walk around being as stupid and ignorant as they please.
And about your ex and the friend, you are making the right moves. If either of them were loyal to you in any way, they absolutely wouldn't have crossed the line they have. Go find yourself a real women, one who respects you and knows what loyalty is.

I don't suppose you remember the time that Mom and I took you to school when I was 12 and had cut my hair really short and the little kid opening the door said something like "Yes sir" to me, do you? I was totally crushed -- I thought my hair was cute and I had on earrings (this being before boys having earrings was the norm, of course).

My friends all think you're cute, if that makes you feel better, and that's the honest to God truth. Not too butch, not too girly -- just right. Most people your age haven't got the slightest clue, so they wear what Avril has on in some video or what they find from Pacific Sunwear, and they look stupid, because they all look the same. Don't let other people get you down. Just be happy to know who you are.

No, I don't remember that.. i just thought it was amusing as to how people still act after the way things are changing. It didn't hurt my feelings in anyway, I thought it was amusing.
