i just opened up a chase account in brooklyn. i had north community in chicago and loved them too. so, i haven't had much experience with chase yet but so far they've been very helpful. plus, chase atms seem everywhere, so i was hoping to avoid fees.

well, and we're not technically there yet. we still haven't found an apartment. we've been having a crazy time with that. but we will be there mid to late august. and we should hang out when we get there! hopefully joining the chicago relocation club is easier.

oh, well. august then. we were stupid lucky finding a place, the only person i know who has rooms for rent specified no live-in gf/bf. which is not helpful. i will keep my eyes/ears peeled. do you know where you want to live?

well, we had been looking in park slope and maybe that's part of the problem but definitely brooklyn and near there. let me know if you hear anything. that would be awesome!

maybe try williamsburg, east williamsburg, greenpoint or bushwick. bushwick has some decent priced places available for sure. its super close to manhatten and theres plenty of stuff to do within walking distance. i was chastized today for not leaving my 8 block radius.
if you already know all this tell me to shut it, i had never even been to brooklyn until i moved here.

I concur on the Bushwick being a nice place (i'm sandwiched b/w that and E. Williamsburg), but also if you like Park Slope you might also really like living in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill area.

... hm, wonder who'd be so unfair to chastise someone who just move here, heh.
