(no subject)
I dont feel like studying for my midterm so im going to procrastinate a bit and write about my trip.
IOWA- i love it there. absolutely love it. The weather was sooo nice it was in the 90's with a breeze and a bit humid. strangely i thought it felt really nice, especially at night. Bettendorf and Davenport basically the quad cities are really big, way bigger than salinas, and nicer too. Basically everything there is better minus their ice cream and their own version of chipotle, pancerhos, which i think sucks. The houses are HUGE and not even half as expensive as my house which is really tiny.
People- I loved kyle's friends! It took me a while to warm up to them just because im really shy but they were awesome. There were only 2 people i didnt like, one was one of kyle's best friends and i dont have the heart to tell him i dont like him and then jakes ex girlfriend. so glad they broke up. the last night we got drunk as a going away thing for gage and i. Jake bought us wine haha and gage sparkling cider becaue he's mormon and doesnt drink. we met up with a bunch of people at sky bridge then went to old chicagos which was alot of fun too
Kyle- I love kyle! He was definitely alot more comfortable around me in his own environment (and so was jake, he smiled alot tina! haha). We fought alot, not like fighting as in we had alot of problems just alot of wrestling haha. I accidently punched him really hard in the face one night haha but he bit me so hard one day because i refused to admit that his bed was softer that i had marks all day.
we saw lots of fireflys, and kyle wanted me to go watch him work out so we went to the gym a bunch and we went swimming and took bulldozer swimming and watched alot of movies and we went grocery shopping a bunch anddddd mm we bbq'd! and saw fireworks and i watched the boys play basketball and i got bit by a bunch of mosquitos and i got an awesome iowa hawkeyes hoodie for $12 and i bought kyle some really cute new balance shoes. the shopping is kinda better there too, compared to salinas, not sc or sf. theres a camping store that has a ton of really cute north face stuff.
