плакала - это не сложно - проще простого меня склонить плакать, сложнее склонить к новым образам и каким то даже идеям...
I appreciated reading it! Normally I am not fun of the religious topics. Biblical stories sound too rude, nonsensical and misogynistic to me. This text offered a different - rather humanistic, existential point of view; I was able to see those biblical personages as somebody with whom I share humanity, stories, celebrations, sufferings and routines.
that radically skeptical approach to the whole "business of redemption" sounds very appealing; it was the episode about Lazarus, that made the whole story very convincing, it seems it gave voice to that very muted everyday services that women do, rarely describing the logic and the essence of the work of supporting the living beings through life and easing their way out of life. The way Lazarus is portrayed in the text made me think of a person with Down syndrome - somebody with a charmingly smiling face and everybody's friend and loved by everyone around.
Interestingly the narrative starts by mentioning time - how Mary found herself thinking about the future, which she thought was an unusual way for her to make sense of what's going on.
So, I too, attempted to mentally emulate a way of thinking in which I would not pay attention to the future. I failed, the closest I got was the "this is not forever" type of mental viewpoint. It still included a reference point in the future as a relief from "now". And this is still suspiciously similar to the idea of redemption. Is it the same type of thinking just with different words?
сестра мне благосклонно пояснила, что Лазаря оживление было исключительно чтоб продемонстрировать мощь невзъ.. божественную. Что делает этот эпизод безоговорочно безнравственным. ... друзья детства такие... ему говорят , болеет, умирает, помоги, ты вроде можешь... а он такой - ни фига! - Лазаря вашего оживлю только чтоб показать какой я всемогущий, ну и чтоб по аналогии все решили что и остальные тоже так же потом обещанно... воскреснут. Это как вообще? Если это живые люди были, настоящие как я и другие, то такое поведение ... безнравственное как минимум. Ради жизни друга не стану пальцем шевелить, а стану шевелить ради славы и молвы. и чтоб мечтали про будущее...
С другой стороны, если историю Лазаря рассматривать как такой библейский мыслительный эксперимент про всемогущество божественное и воскресшение из мертвых, тогда следствие немного другое, но тоже не очень ... Человек умирал, больно ему было, его родные, сестры тоже страдали. Потом страдали когда его похоронили... Потом он ожил (странно что ни кто не расспросил Лазаря о впечатлениях и ощущениях, или хотя бы о том что он там видел или как оно там в любом смысле) и еще какое то время медленно опять умирал... Библейский мыслительный эксперимент - не вдохновляет, честно говоря. Оживления всеобщего и воскресшения - не надо. Зачастую смерть - это избавление. Особенно когда умирает тиран.
плаканье в непредсказуемые моменты перемежалось моим же смехом -
that day the whole office was laughing with me about me - all four of us. I had been corresponding with the college's HR and Payments offices to find out about the last day of my contract. A few messages went out and back, nobody knew the answer, I kept copying my message for the next person they pointed me to. Eventually our units' manager, approached me and said:"Look, I don't think HR people were able to appreciate, when you call them like that..."I checked the email and just laughed :)
In my message, in the end, instead of saying politely "regards" I typed "Retards"
... and like that the message traveled between all those HR people ...
Our whole team had quite a laugh discussing it and making funny comments like "That's a good idea, I'll change my greetings that way too!" , "I thought that was a special Slavic directness to make them pay attention to her question" - that was just a Freudian slip - this is what they are anyway!"
I'm still laughing when thinking of that... I wish I could see those people's faces reading the email, in which they were called imbeciles.

Египтяне первыми стали отслеживать важное, заметно поменяли в процессе свою точку зрения. Если изначально важным было неизменное - что б солнце по небу ходило, фараон хорошо обученный это обеспечивал, чтоб Нил разливался ... и тд. То позже появилась идея, что изменчивые события тоже интересны для увековечивания - победы всякие, ради восстановления порядка.. последовательность фараоновых династий - тоже считали - имеет смысл увековечивать...
Только к двадцатому веку внимение к повседневности обратилось... а начиналось все очень эпично
