Finals, schminals...

First of all, I'd like to dedicate this post to Tyra Banks...

Just had to share that.

Anyway, finals start next week which means summer is coming! Whoo! Hopefully I'll get paid at my internship so I don't have to do the daycare camp again. I will be interning in the HR department of Morgan Stanley in Baltimore. I kind of wanted to travel this summer but hey, you take what you can get.

Happy belated birthday to the Pranky Mcprankster Spadada. Okay, so technically you didn't do the prank, but you were in on it! Lol, it's all good though because I got to talk to the totally awesome athenacqd! And made me feel all privileged fan.

So, I'm being really cool and staying in to study on my last Saturday night of the semester. To be fair I have a brutal final on Monday, but that doesn't stop me from being bored. I suck at studying. I just want to go outside and fly a kite or something...

Oh, something else I wanted to include...

Grey's the Original:

I won't say it's dead to me and vow to never watch again because clearly that is B.S., but I'm severely disappointed in it right now. I hope George does transfer, just so I don't need to hear another George/Izzie "omg, what we did is so bad but we secretly love each other, omg!" scene. I am so against the pairing it's not even funny, and the storyline is dragging the show down.

Also, Susan! Really? I have no idea why Shonda did that. We already went through a dead mother with Meredith. That plotline was so pointless. I don't see the point of forcing that character on her just to kill her off with the hiccups (though I guess I'd rather her die from the hiccups then one of Grey's ridiculous medical emergency deaths). I wish Grey's would just get back to the good drama it was in the beginning, and stop trying to be bigger than life, since it just comes off as lame. Honestly, three episodes ago Grey's was creeping up to be my second favorite show, beating off Arrested Development, but now it keeps falling further and further. Another thing, I don't understand why they are redeeming Mark as a better person because of Addison, if she is just going to go to...

Private Practice:

Based on what I saw, I wouldn't watch the show. It lacks the spark of the original. Plus it feels manufactured. I don't think it is targeting my age group though, since the characters all seem late 30's (except Piz). I didn't have interest in any of the new characters except for Piz, and that was only because he was Piz. The scene in which they were all ogling him felt very wrong. I was embarrassed for them, since they are way too old for him. I get it's Shonda trying to be all feminist and reverse the typical "guys ogling the hot young girl" scene, but it really came off as creepy. And Piz's scene with Francie (don't know her name) was so wrong. I know Alex is younger then Addison, but when the two of them play a scene, it doesn't feel skeevy like it did with Piz. It could be because I'm used to seeing him in Mars though. I truly hope ABC doesn't go ahead with the spin off, because I will miss Addison, but not enough to watch this show.

All in all, it was a waste of a Grey's double episode. Shame on you, Shonda.

Okay, I guess that's all for now. Be seeing you.
