language barriers

OK, so not many people speak english here. Lots of people know German ( all the swear words I know of in Lithuania are German, haha ), but most of the time it's pretty easy to get by knowing "hi" "please" "thankyou" "okay/allgood" "yes" "no" "please wait/hold on", and looking at prices written or on a display and handing over money, pointing at something on a menu etc.

But. Getting a hair cut. Now that's an experience everyone should have when you can't communicate with the hairdresser! I'm just glad I have short back and sides, and they use the same number clippers here for the short bits!
