I sent my mom's friend an email thanking her profusely for the gorgeous gift of her mother's crystal stemware. She responded with, "you're welcome. Did anything break? I have spares." Well shit. I had found on the interbutts that you can indeed give your broken crystal to people who will fix it like new. I was going to go that route, but heck...

I sent her a picture of a representative three pieces that broke since I know zilch about fancy stemware, including the names of the pieces. But there's three pieces of it. Purty, eh?
