Love is buying a tent, a two-person sleeping bag, and two lanterns when the thought of spending a whole weekend without running water, your cat, and tivo sends a cold shiver down your spine.
The cruise was spectacular. Thanks to
bittergem for checking in on the fuzzy! Our room on the ship was way awesome. We had a suite with multiple rooms--the sofa folded out into a queen sized bed for my brother, and Steven and I had our own "love nest" aka bed surrounded on all four sides by either a curtain or a mirror. We stopped at Cozumel (saw Mayan ruins, went to a private beach, and had a local meal), Grand Cayman (went on a bike tour to a turtle farm and a town literally called Hell), Aruba (went shopping and to the beach!), and Puerto Rico (more shopping and wandering through a rain-foresty garden type area).
Poor Steven had to put up with questions from tablemates and random old people every day asking us how long we've been married. He took it like a champ, and it got the ball rolling as far as discussion goes, so that's a good thing. Oh, and there are pictures! Lots of them! I'll post them when I get a chance.
Since I've been back from the cruise, work has been crazy. Too much to do, and too little time. I have barely even been in my own house, and there's more traveling this week. Two more weeks of this case, which is about all I can take.
