Thumbs up for Sephora!
Who knew that the people at Sephora could be so helpful? I went in looking for a foundation that I had read good things about. I normally just tell the people hovering about that I don't need help, but I needed an opinion on which color I needed. The girl seemed pretty knowledgable, and, before I knew it, I was asking her advice on concealer, eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, and lord knows what all. But the kicker is, all her suggestions are working great for me!
I guess the problem with going to a makeup counter for your makeup needs is that they're there to sell you on your brand of products. But, at a place like Sephora, they can suggest the things that work best, regardless of the brand. I'm sold!
I got home early tonight--8:30! Whatever shall I do with all my free time this evening??
