Fanfiction: Video Boy - Chapter 2

-Disclaimer: this fic is inspired to Masakazu Katsura manga "Video girl Ai" but: I do not own neither Arashi nor Video girl Ai plot, anything. (sobs)
-Summary: Sho Sakurai is a high school boy not lucky with girls at all like his bestfriend Nino is. Going home after a bad day Sho run into a very particular videoshop which is going to change his life.
Chapter 2: Video Boy
The owner, Aiba Masaki, was smiling at Sho as if he was proud of him to be looking at the shelves of his shop.
“You know, you’re the third customer I’ve had since the opening.”
Sho blinked, surprised by this statement: seemed the shop wasn’t going very well.
“How is it? Have you been open just for a short time?”
Aiba smiled again, touched by Sho’s kindness:
“It’s not like that: you know, this shop is a very particular one. Only a few people out of thousand can see it.
That is, only those who are pure of heart can see the shop and enter it.”
“Eh?”
Sho still didn’t get it very well, what did that mean anyway?
“Eheh! Yes, just a while ago you were crying for someone else’s delusion even if you have been heartbroken as well.. Isn’t that a perfect example of a crystal pure heart?”
Sho couldn’t believe the guy’s words, it was all so strange;
“I am..pure of heart..”
“Yes you sure are ahah!”
The strange guy laughed in a high pinched voice -because he actually was quite strange, in a positive way though: he had this kind of aura that calmed Sho down, he was still shocked by the delusion but the atmosphere in the shop was serene and kind of warmed his broken heart.
“So, you like that video don’t you?”
“Mh, well..”
“Please take it! And this is you membership card”
Aiba handed Sho a golden card with the shop’s name in rainbow colors written on it.
“O-ok, so then how much will the membership be? Do I need to pay a deposit before? And..”
“Ahah you’re so serious and careful! No wonder you’re here! No don’t worry, the membership is free and so is your first rental ! If you need anything just call me and I’ll be there!”
“Eeh!? Wait a mo-“
“Oh I almost forgot! The rental time for that video is three months!”
“Three months? This long?”
“So, see you then Sho chan!”
“Wait a moment!”
The owner blinked while Sho was still trying to seek for info and the shop disappeared leaving Sho bewildered, on the side of the street, with a gold membership card and a video in his hands.
“Aiba saaan!
.. I can’t believe it..”

Sho switched his room’s light off and sat on the ground near his television and his brand new-already fallen once that morning- vrc.
“Well then, since I’ve got this let’s just try my new video out, I just hope it didn’t break this morning! Fuuuu”
He said out loud to himself, while inserting the video and taking a more comfortable sit on the pouf in the corner of the room, finally pressing the “Play” button.
The video started with a little sizzling, and then a very colored and particular dressed girl appeared on the screen; she was just like the photo on the cover, beautiful with defined features, almost a little masculine ones even if delicate, if possible. She smiled, her dark brown neck length hair wavered a little:
“Hello, thank you so much for choosing my video!”
Her tune of voice was determined but kind of leaked a note of shyness.
“Y-you’re welcome..?”
Sho answered almost without noticing and she chuckled this time.
“You’re so cute, but..oh seems you are quite heartbroken aren’t you?..”
“Eh? What the.. Seems like she’s..talking to me.
Aah impossible, what am I thinking! What am I even doing watching this kind of videos on the day of my big delusion.. I’m such a bad guy” He sighed.
“She doesn’t understand how much you worth, trust me..”
“So..nice, no girl ever has ever told me something so kind..” A little tear was appearing on Sho eye’s corner;
“Ah! Again I thought she was talking to me.. But it’s so real!”
“I might not be the one in your heart now, but please, let me comfort you and heal your broken heart.”
Her voice was so nice, touching, sincere.. Sho couldn’t tell anymore if that was real or not, fiction or reality. He started wishing that girl could really be there, next to him healing the fresh wound in his heart with her sweet words and smiles.
He was in the middle of these thoughts when a warm, bright light started coming from the screen, making him close his eyes and enjoy the warmness enshrouding him, giving him a peaceful feeling, similar to that of the video rental shop, but emphasized to the nth degree.
Sho was still immersed in the light when a sizzling like the one he heard as the video started, awoke him; he opened his eyes and a scene that he would have believed to be physically impossible was just happening before him.
The girl from the video was literally coming out of the screen, in the middle of the light, even more beautiful than in the video, if possible.. well not like something normally possible was happening there.
“Wh-wh-what is happening?!? ..EEEEHH?!”
Sho was immobilized from the shock, not able to do anything except from gazing at her.
The sizzling started to grow louder and an electrical light surrounded her in a way that seemed irregular and dangerous too.
“Aaaah!! H-help me please!”
The girl seemed to be suffering in the midst of the electric current, but Sho didn’t know what to do and just gazed.
“SSHHZZT.”
The noise and light stopped and the girl fell soundly on Sho’s bed, near his pouf.
Sho had been staying still for a few seconds bewildered again, when he finally got up and got closer to who - or what?- came out of the screen.
“I-is t-this a dream??”
He held his finger out and draw it near to that body, to that face, touching the nose.
Touching.
It WAS real! He touched it!
But again while looking at his finger which just felt the touch of real skin, he noticed another little electric shock surrounding the person laying untidy on his bed.
He went to look closer again.
The clothes he saw before in the video seemed now not to fit anymore, colored creases indicating the clothes got smaller? Or..wait.
It was not the clothes: that body changed, it was different..
That who was totally a “she” before on the screen didn’t have any hint of chest now, the shoulders got wider, face features even more defined and..that was all he could guess from his still dark room, but it was clear enough that.. now that was a “he”!!
“W..what the hell is going on here? Seriously. Wake me up!”
Sho was moved to pity by that person laying in such an uncomfortable way -was he even alive after that shock by the way??- and tried to make the boy sit a little more comfortably, and his cheeks got a little hotter at the sight ; he was kind of embarrassed by that unexpected change the cute girl went through and he looked at the neo-him.
Even though he changed he was still extremely delicate, slim, with pale skin, neck length hair unchanged laying on his forehead and cheeks framing his face and his long lashed eyes: still beautiful.
The young boy blinked once, starting to open his eyes again, slowly; Sho, tensed, also stopped breathing for a while, waiting anxiously for him to awake.
“He’s awakening..what is he going to say now?”
‘Oh you’re here..thanks for taking care of me.’
“hehe” Sho imagined the scene, giggling a little like an idiot.
The boy finally awoke, so that Sho could almost see his reflection in his beautiful big eyes , now open and staring at him.
“You are..”
“Y-yes?” Sho stuttered in nervousness.
“You are a TOTAL IDIOT!!!”
“Eh.”
Sho opened his eyes wide and couldn’t utter a word.
He had never see someone so delicate so fiercely angered before.
