I've just seen Arashi part streaming in ", Uta de tsunagou" it was really beautiful, and touching.
I didn't see from the very start but from when they introduced happiness, the they sang the full song quite full of energy and encouraging <3
Then it was time for the interview, i was pleasantly surprised to see Ohno was the first one to talk, starting of his own initiative: as the interviewer said they were conveying courage to people listening he said it's on the contrary, people staying strong and doing their best are the ones giving them strenght and will to go on.
Then they started showing video messages from teenagers, it's really amazing to see how strong they are: the first boy was crying slightly while showing his suit for the graduation ceremony and what he said were not sad or desperate words but how grateful he was to everybody supporting him; then he showed the handmade newspaper they were compiling with the class and his words were in order to thank everyone.
And they showed the graduation ceremony they manage to do and the kid receiving his diploma.
When the video went back to the studio everyone was silent in avery moved silence. As the interviewer said (from what i understood) 'there was only to be moved'. (I didn't see well because of low quality but i think Aiba maybe Ohno and a little bit Jun were almost crying (?) but for sure everyone was really moved, it couldn't be helped.)
They indeed commented on the strenght of saying 'Thank you' in a moment like that, and commented the newspaper thing(didn't get exactly what about this). Then that they were happy the kid had been able to graduate.
The second video was about two brothers who loved sailing their father's ship together and that ship was left undamaged by the tsunami (but i think their house was destroyed). They showed they were burying a time capsule with letters to the themselves of 8 years in the future, it was like: "to the20 years old me(..) the sea is very SCARY but it's beautiful, and I love it(..)".
They were telling how scary, uncontrollable the nature could be but still admiring its beauty and thanking it for its usefulness and for allowing life; not seeing it as a murder or destroyer which in fact it's not. It's really, really admirable because in my culture we would have probably never thought like that and i'm happy and honored i'm being taught it.
I've never seen a strenght like this.
Then they vere back in the studio again, and again everyone was very touched; they said about the time capsule thing that they did it as well and about the kids growing, that anyway this memory will remain forever(i'm not sure here ><) and that adults too should keep protecting them.
Finally they showed Furusato performance.
Beautiful and touching as ever especially after this special.
The program ended with the students from Sendai school singing together to face the future (it was a title like 'that thing called tomorrow').
Looking forward to some better quality of it.
this was another proof of Japan strenght and union, i really hope they can overcome this, and they're doing their best, i believe it!
