-How could you be so far away, When you're still here?-
Well since my last update I have been a VERY busy girl! School was just school, then friday came along and wow was it so awesome. I went to the Green Day concert with Sarah in Manchester New Hampshire. It was SOOOO GOOOD! My chemical romance opened for them and they scared me a little bit but it was still cool. I slept over sarah's but we didnt get home to about 3 ish because we got lost in boston. Then we went to food pantry at 8 so i was very tired and so was sarah. After food pantry i stopped by my grams with brian and had some lunch even though they werent home. I got home and read Huck Finn until i went to church with my dad at 4. Then came home and finished Huck-Finn which is THE WORSE BOOK EVER! but im over it.
So this morning i get up at 6 am and get ready then go to Dunks. then to coyle to board the bus for the walk for hungry. It was fun. We got there at about 8:20, registered and were walking at 8:30. I walked with Burgmyer, Suzzie Keys, and Jess Pike. We started behind Mr. Cote and our goal was to beat him. So we gained on him then finally passed him at the 7.5 mile check point. He stopped to eat and we kept going! There was musica along the way and stuff to eat and water. It rained for most of the walk and when it stopped we were all soaked and very cold. The rain made it even more fun though. I didnt eat a lot or drink a lot becaus i didnt want to go in the porter johns lol. At mile 10 we caught up with Ashely and Ashely. So we walked with them the rest of the way. Around 15 we were feeling sore and had blisters. but we kept going. We finished the 20 miles by about 2:30. We waited for the other slackers who took the shuttle bus at mile 13.5 because their feet hurt! lol. Mr. Cody finsihed a little after us and then Ash-a-lay and her friend finished up around 3:15.. they walked the whole way as well. Then we sat on this mat thing under a tent to stretch our legs which were and still are killing me. Then we waited for the bus outside in the very cold. I slept most of the way home.. burgmyer said i didnt ahve to do any homework for her class... ya good thing she didnt give us any!!!! then brian and i went to friendlys and now im home. Im def. glad i did it and did the whoel 20 miles. I feel very accomplished, next year i will just shave some of the time off it!!! I am soo going to take a bubble bath and soak my muscles. Then i will prepare and outline for the Huck-finn essays or at least find 3 quotes for each one. So bye for now. Love You all!
