I had THE BEST weekend. Saturday I went down the cape with my family to my aunt Dot's cottage with my Aunt Sharon and cousins jessica & michaela and Olivia. Byrcen and Lindsey were there too and we had the annual parade... our float was BoB Marley and the "Pocasset" wailers. It was fun... THEN we went swimming and ate and Brian had to leave for work so my dad brought him home and my mom and I were gonna go home with my grandparents. But then they said i could stay over and Id get a ride on Sunday. So i did and my uncle tony set off his fireworks and they were sooooo goood. Jessica's friend Vinnie came down and he was cool. Then Sunday we went out on the boat and went ot the canal. Vinnie got SOAKED it was so funny. Then vinnie had to go so Jessica and Uncle Don drove him home and i hung out with the girls.
Then we took showers and Aunt Sharon asked if i wanted to stay over again and they would take me home. and i was like umm YES! so i did. Jessica and I walked to the dock and watched fireworks the neighbors were setting off. They set them off right on the beach the dock is near. Then we went back and slept.
Monday was the 4th and we took the boat out... (all of us- Uncle Don, Uncle Tony, Aunt Dot, Aunt Sharon, Michaela, Olivia, Jessica and I) and we went to this little island. We walked the beach and tried to use this skid board thing but oh man did we stink. Then jessica and I went out to the boat to tan and stuff. Soon enough it was time to go back for lunch. We ate then Jessica and I went down to the beach. We decided to swim out to the boat and tan on it because its just more fun. We took a raft to float out and THEN Uncle Don and Michaela and Olivia took the Dingy out and stole our raft and went back to shore. We decided we could swim it back but Olivia met us half way with the raft. THEN we had dried off for a good 1/2 hour when Jessica says, "awww i think i left my sunglasses on the boat". So decide we can handle the dingy because i row boats at maplewood all the time. So we are going good and everything is fine until we get to the actual boat and we are trying to get out to get on it. And we lost an ore.... so its floating in the ocean and there really is no way to get it.. SOOOO i said i would jump out and get it... even jessica did offer. So i jump and i thought the dingy was going to flip but it didny!!!!! SO i tug the dingy to the boat and get the ore... since i am already in the water i got on the boat and took the sun glasses and wore them. Then i got back in and rowed back.. granted our entire crew (the names i mentioned above) were ALL staring at us and probably made fun of us the WHOLE TIME. it was quite the story. So then it was time to go and we said our goodbyes and i came home to an empty house.
At night i went to Fireworks with Brian, Emily, Liz, Daev, Kenny, Doug, and Matt (ppl from camp) at bridgewater and it was pretty fun. Then i went to maplewood today and had a staff meeting and camp home feeling WICKED sick but i guess i am good now.
But it was a great weekend...!
