..."you said it would feel that good and it does"...

|Word of the Day|
afflatus \uh-FLAY-tuhs\, noun:
A divine imparting of knowledge; inspiration.

Okay so I was walking along, minding my business, when out of an orange-coloured sky [anyone who can pin-point the musical reference I just made there, wins a car (metaphorically)! Hint: the song title is in that line...], Chris [Rayment] rolls up to Zak and I in his chariot o' fire [aka his "car"] and is all like, "Hey want a ride to Baseline?" and we were like, "Fuck yeah!" [naturally].
So we're driving along, [minding our business], and Chris whips out a ticket for the Metric show on the 30th and hands it to Zak. Well, this is monumentous considering we [Zak and myself] were just lamenting over how much we wanted to go to the show, but we thought the tickets were probably going to be sold out. So here I am all sad now that Zak has a ticket and I say to Chris, "Aw boo! I really wanted to go..." so Chris replies, "Want me to drive you to Record Runner to buy a ticket?" and of course I'm all like, "Fuck yeah!" [naturally].
So we're racing downtown whilst [wait for it, wait for it...] minding our business, to get to Record Runner to buy my Metric ticket and I buy said ticket and I'm immediately feeling elated! I start to think about how Saki wanted a ticket so I call her and ask her if she wants me to buy her one and she says [now, let it be known that only about 4 hours prior to this call, she was complaining about how much she wanted to go and how disappointed she was that there weren't many tickets left], in typical Saki style, "Hmm... I dunno...sure?" so I didn't buy her a ticket.
After the adventure in the Chris' chariot o' fire, he drives Zak and myself home and we're feeling pretty fine-diddly-ine. So that is my story. Chris is my guardian angel, the tickets weren't sold out, and I'm going to the Metric show... can I get a "Fuck yeah"?! [naturally].

P.S. Apparently the world is going to this show... how exactly they expect to fit the entire global population inside the Capital City Music Hall is beyond me, but w/e. But seriously, here's a list of the people that I know are going: Chris, Zak, Tyler, Megan, Becky, Dan, Isabelle, myself and Mr. Mo. Uh, can it get any better?
P.P.S. Btw, if you couldn't guess which song I was talking about, it's Orange-Coloured Sky by Unknown (I say "unknown" coz' it's a jazz standard so I don't know who originally sang it). Download it so that you'll know what I was talking about.
P.P.P.S. Oh and I'm pretty sure I failed my math test.
P.P.P.P.S. Jamiroquai is facking cool. That is all.
