I'm sooo tired - probably from watching the finale of Paradise Hotel last night - it was way too exciting and it was kinda hard to go to sleep afterward. I'm SO HAPPY Keith and Charla won and Keith is so great for splitting his money with Tara and I think Charla will change her mind and give Dave half cuz she wouldn't have made it without him.
I was realizing the other day that I really the only thing I watch lately are reality shows and Friends. My abfave so far has been Paradise Hotel cuz it really brought up all the perfect hell of junior high and I loved/hated reliving it. Temptation Island was my total fave last year but this time I only watched 3 episodes - of course had to watch the finale. I stopped watching the Real World after Boston. I never could get into Survivor - something about that show just does not interest me. Oh my God, I forgot to mention The Amazing Race! It is the best reality competition show by far. Oh and there have been a ton of cool things on PBS where families live in "olden times" like the 1850s, 1900s, 1930s - they have to wear the clothes, use the products and technology of the time and it is AWESOME! Plus some of them have to live in these environments for a whole YEAR so there's time for plenty of drama. And Bravo has that series following 10 struggling actors as they go on auditions and take odd jobs and try to "make it." What the hell is that called? But I also watch the trashier ones: The Newlyweds, The Osbournes, Anna Nicole... I like to think the PBS stuff counteracts the trashy ones but still, I wonder if putting my energy into watching other people's lives is very good for me. Something about it doesn't feel good, even though I enjoy watching. But the part that enjoys watching is the brain part, and the part that doesn't feel good is the heart.
