seeing as how it's been at least four years since my last entry, i have many interesting things to tell. however, because i must also take time today to breathe and eat, i will only tell about this past weekend. jess's birthday is tomorrow so she wanted to go home to long island to celebrate and take ang nikki rach and i along with her. this seemed like a good idea in the beginning. ang had class until 2 and the bus left at 3 from south station. so thinking ahead as we always do, i called good old metrocab (the only cab co with secretaries that speak english in all of boston) to pick ang and i up at 230. we made a bad decision thus leading us to get picked up at 230 and arriving at south station at approximately 2:58. needless to say everyone was like "you suck. you are slow. we are never getting to new york." and ang and i were just like "coooool. i have fingers." and the bus driver was like "get on the bus. there is still room." we start traveling and it seems to be going pretty well. i mean at least we didnt hit any cars like the last time i took a greyhound. and it didnt catch on fire like the sketchy chinatown buses. the trip to ny should take 4 hours 20 minutes. hwoever greyhound doesnt take into account the very fact that we were going INTO NY on a FRIDAY NIGHT. our stomachs were literally eating themselves. so after 6 hours 45 minutes we arrive at port authority (a really beautiful building let me tell you) and try to get to penn station for the 10 pm train. but oh no. we end up on 10th ave which is probably the shadiest place in the world. i think there used to be sidewalks there but you wouldnt know anymore becasue they are too covered in garbage and heroin needles.
we ran our asses to penn station and got aboard the train literally 20 seconds before the doors slammed shut. needless to say, we were not in a good mood. but eventually we made it to long island and ate new york pizza and ridiculous brownies. if brownies always tasted like that there would be no need for pot brownies because you could get high just off the chocolate in these things.
anyways saturday we met up with stef and went shopping. and because my pants were like "we are going to fall down all day" and wet seal was like "we are going to sell really henious belts" i spend 14 dollars on a piece of plasticy woven belt that i will never wear again in my life. that night we went to cosmic cantina. let's imagine this place. right inside is this counter and YOU HAVE TO ORDER FOOD. so then some people in our group felt daring and went around to the back, because suprise surprise, there is a bar back there. five pitchers of sangria later i was really enjoying myself. then we all traversed back to the bar and these guys ordered about 78234uuy8 shots. obviously i dont remember leaving the cosmic cantina and getting back on the train because everything seemed just so cosmic to me. i specifically remember trying to tell my friends that i was going to the bathroom on the grass when really i was standing on a concrete train platform.
sunday we chilled and celebrated jess's birthday with her ridiculous family. her mum made abou t8359 dishes of italian food and my stomach was like "mmm imn going to absorb all these calories and mnake you regret this later". but no worries. its all cool. luckily the ride back wasnt so bad and actually was only 4 hours 20 minutes. bravo greyhound.
however we did run into rana our friend from the 5th floor at this random ass rest stop in connecticutt. and we were like hey rana. and she was like hey guys. and we were like hmm this is random. and she was like i know but i have to go now. cya for dinner tonight. what are the chances.
so tonight im going to try to convince someone to go to qdoba with me for dinner because i love qdoba and towers food belongs in one of those festering piles in someones backyard that gets spread on their garden. i forget what they are called. keep your fingers cvrossed for me.
this weekend stef bebe is coming to visit me. thisll be grand. we'll have the saturday afternoon river smoke, the warren experience, the evening river smoke, and crazy t ride to the museum, and the pink floyd laser show. oh how i love boston and mis amigos in boston. we have the best times. you dont really experiecne boston unless you experience the warren experience. if yuou want to know what t is, ask me. i woudl love to tell. ok i have to go. peace out love you guys mucho. comment dammit.
