Phuket - Sun, Sand and Sea
Wow.. I had such a gorgeous time in Phuket! I love travelling - I love being in foreign land - I love being in the sea - I love being amongst the waves! Ha, a huge wave (taller than me) covered me while I was fooling around... drank some water and ha, had a good laugh about it. haha... hilarious - i was swimming (yes, baoyu - I just learnt do doggie style in phuket!) Yes, to all who don't know, I can't swim. Ok - was swimming towards the waves and against the current. So fun - tons of adrenaline.. love it!
I'm honey-tanned and had such a blast in Phuket - all thanks to Yvonne Sunner - what a gorgeous Spanish beach babe! She put me in touch with a dive operator - I went diving on my own - what an experience! I realised I like to do activities such as diving in good company - something was missing without wenbin and yvon!!! shaun and youyi!!! But yes, it's a damn good practise session for Bali in Aug. I saw a huge batfish (about 50cm big), titan trigger fish attacking other fishes, many many colourful tropical fishes... how i miss the marine life!
In phuket - yvonne brought me to two clubs with the BT girls - apple, michelle, kaye! super fun - at banana and seduction - cheesy names but in good company! the girls danced like there's no tomorrow! Wow - to hip hop and house. When love generation came on - Deb, you don't know how much I miss partying with you!!!
Yvonne and I had a gorgeous afternoon at kata noi beach - super quiet and exclusive - very peaceful. that's where I swam and almost got drowned! ha... that's the only beach that you can do surfing - but the waves came much later.. we swam, chill under the umbrella, had a sandwich for lunch, and yes, coconut for drinks! great conversations about boys, about moving, about life! Funny stories - and yes, she's heading to Bali in Aug too!!! woohoo.. this is all planned! Same weekend - almost can't believe this.
You know - I'm so inspired by her - Yvonne's my age as well - she has been working in phuket for one and half years - she intends to move to mexico or morocco! She's so funny, humourous, adventurous, sporty and energetic.. beautiful beautiful girl.
I didn't expect to go to Phuket when we got the account - but yes, I was sent there. I didn't expect the media to have such great fun and yes they all love me and I had a good time with them. wow right? I didn't expect to go diving - I did it, inspired by Deb's open water in Krabi soon! I didn't expect to jog around Laguna Phuket twice - I did it - once straight after diving k!
I didn't expect Yvonne to allow me to put up at her place - but she was soooo sweet! I didn't expect Yvonne to drive me to the beach and we had such an amazing time - ha, we chatted till 6pm when my flight is at 840pm!!! ahhhh.. we ran all the way to her car in our bikinis - she drove in her white bikinis and me in my stripped ones! haha... damn funny! That's life - we drove through the beaches - as kata noi is at the most southern part of phuket. excellent drive along the beaches...
I didn't expect my boss to be so candid when I called him to check if there's anything urgent! ha.. he was joking with me and it feels great to slog for him and the company cos he recognises your work!
It's almost surreal - when I was down, angels appear - jess, yvon, deb - these girls went through my toughest time. My goodness, almost uncanny timings. You know - I haven't cry for a long looooong time - but yes, my first night in Phuket - finally I let everything out - all the sadness came out at the same time. I wonder how I held it - don't know if I was still in shock, absorbing like a sponge only to release in one squeeze or simply in self-denial. It feels great to release - ha, like a good pee. Don't worry - it's just pent-up emotions. Not looking for comfort here. :)
My dearie Jess showed me her latest blog (http://in3briated.blogspot.com) - and guess what under the column - "Inspired by" - She put down "shanshan" - I can't believe my eyes! What I did was just being the true friend that I've always been and want to be - Jess, you know I love you tons!
I chatted with Yvon and Deb - they all teach me different things and think in perspectives. Guess what, Yvon and Jess will be in Shanghai from this friday onwards!!!!! and deb will only be going back to Sg on 29th - we're going to have a blast on 27th and 28th - partying and living it up! I'm sooo happy! Miss the girls - even though I just meet up with Jess two weekends ago - not enough!!!!!!!!!
