Hope to Haiti
As some of you may know I have been to Haiti for the past two years as part of Random Act’s Hope to Haiti project. In that time the Jacmel Children’s Centre has been built, The Art Creation Foundation For Children (ACFFC) has a new home, and several other projects in Jacmel have been provided with funding and support. This will be the last of the Random Acts trips to Haiti.
The money raised this year will provide the finishing touches to the JCC (it still needs windows and doors, tiling, plumbing, solar panels, paint, and furnishings). We will also be paying the last installments for the ACFFC’s permanent new home.
I am so proud of the Jacmel Children's Centre and the impact it will have on the community. I love that the kids at the Art Creation Foundation for Children have a home and no longer need to keep relocating, that Espoir Des Enfants can keep looking after their kids and that the Faith And Love Orphanage can build an earthquake proof building for their wonderful little girls. None of this would be possible without you.
I want to go back to Haiti again so very badly this year. I want to see how well the kids are doing and how much the work we have completed has improved their lives. I would so love to go back with Random Acts so that we can end this journey which we began together.
