hey i am megan i have no idea who you are i just got it through kristys friends thing... and i have the computer that you want, its not that great if i were you i would look in to tother ones
a mac, sure it's good for audio and video, however it does not handle as well for gaming and other such capabilities, such as graphic design. things I care about doing
( ... )
also, i have an early BETA version of windows xp home edition, which is why i find myself having to update all the time. but if i had a linux, it wouldn't give me this problem.
but then i wouldn't be able to use such programs such as photoshop, or even play games like unreal tournament. i don't approve.
What are you talking about Mac not being powerful?! Ya, their processor may be below 2 ghz but unlike PC's they don't need a processor like that to run. Not good for gaming? I hope you're aware that Unreal Tournament is made by Mac and I have a hard time believing that Apple's own game wouldn't be that great on their own system.
Yes...I subscribe to PC World so I would think I would know at a least a little something too. I also recall an article in PC World in which the chief editor discussed how great the new Powerbooks were and how the worst thing about Macs is that there is less software available. I also remember reading where he said the Powerbook would beat out any other notebook he's reviewed before. Also, the UT was a slight error. UT was redesigned for Mac by Macsoft.
yes, it was. that's why i wouldn't like a mac, because you can't get much for it.
plus i hate that one button mouse. wtf is up with that?
i'll have to do a little bit of research on powerbook before i refute your statements.
sorry for getting all hyped up, it's just that boys have a tendancy to try to make it seem like i don't know what the hell i am talking about...but, obviously, i do. and my words have been approved by the coolest, most computer loving boys i know.
Well, you can get everything you need for a Mac just not as many choices. But everything you need is there and works excellent. Also, yes they have 1 button on the mouse, however you can buy a two button mouse and Mac supports it just fine. Also, I know that you know plenty about computers.
ps -- the mac thing was a deeper rooted physcological problem i have, where boys try to make it seem like i don't know what i'm talking about. tsk tsk. silly boys. flo knows a thing or two about computers.
