More Library Poetry Love
New poetry stuff, related at least indirectly to Slam, available at the Dayton Libary is Sara Holbrook and Allan Wolf's More Than Friends, a short series of poems about a high school couple from first interest through end of relationship. Definitely more pre-teen/teen suggested, but pretty good.
Also suggested is Jeffrey McDaniel's The Endarkenment. McDaniel is one of my all-time favorite poets, and this book doesn't disappoint (at least it doesn't disappoint me; mileage may vary, I suppose). Definitly recommended.
