I Just Don't Know

This morning, Zoey and I went to the new house and waited (not too long) for the arrival of our appliances. They moved in the fridge and stove into the space we had available, and I'm kinda nervous about how crowded they are, and if it's entirely safe there, with the stove shoved against the wall like that (with a windowsill hanging slightly over one eye). The alternative is to move the fridge so it's by the back door, running an extension cord around to the outlet it's currently on. That gives more room in one way, but disrupts the imaginary flow we supposedly have right now. I'll see what Amy thinks, and we'll move things around as we have to.

We're moving the big stuff tomorrow. Moving truck from Amy's parents' house, the storage unit, and here, to the new place. Big furniture is the most crucial, but we're moving the majority of what's left, and we may have a little help (if he shows up/we hear from him), but we can move it all alone if he doesn't show.

This afternoon, I have an "interview" (more a recruitment, I suspect) with a company that's never seen my resume. Someone recommended me (?), and they want me to come in today. I think I'll call them again and see exactly what they're offering in pay, and refuse flat-out if they're under what I'm currently making. I really don't trust this "interview," but I'll see.

We'll be around tonight, but if you can't reach/hear from us tomorrow, we'll resurface again on Sunday, having successfully (I hope) moved.

See you on the flip side, if we don't hear from you before then.

moving, zoey
