Weekend Update
Book is almost done. I need to hear back from Allan Wolf on his end of the story, and he's having computer problems. I'm waiting on a picture or three from a few people. I need to write a bio and have a back-cover photo taken (I don't have many photos of myself, really). I might need to add one more appendix, but it's easily done. Then I need to send it all to my publisher and wait for my galley to proof. Everything else is optional, and I'm done with the optional stuff unless someone else gets something to me (I won't seriously pursue any of it anymore).
So how'm I going to get a good pic of me that's dramatic enough (heh) for a book cover? Oh, and who knows how I can get a few pix scanned for the book, since our scanner broke in the move?
It's the last full week of class next week. I'll be grading final drafts next weekend and getting ready for final exams. It's been a good group, and I'm hopeful for positive reviews. Hard to say what else I'm hopeful for, considering all that's going on, and how little's going on.
