Siddhartha

For those who may not remember (hah), I read a lot in high school. Not only did I read all of the assigned class reading (at least for English and a lot of the other class's readings) I read one to five books a month outside of school. In my four years of high school, there was only one book I ever didn't completely read and that was Siddhartha. I don't know why, I just hated that book. I read the book that made it on the list of one of the ten most boring books ever written but I couldn't get through Siddhartha.

So anyway, I was sitting here eating my breakfast/lunch (which, by the way, is amaaaaazing. I should've started cooking for myself years ago) reading reddit and one of the topics asks people to "List 3 Books that [in your opinion] have made you a better and much more educated, and enlightened, person." And one book that is mentioned over and over again is the blasted Siddhartha. So I'm thinking I need to stop by the library and try reading it again and see if I really am missing out on something. Considering how much I've experienced and changed in the ten years since I was supposed to read it in school, I might really appreciate it now in a way that I couldn't then. We'll see.

Also, why don't I have a books icon? That's dumb.
