Harry managed to open the chamber of secretes in his fourth year but closed it when the game keeper got arrested for it so no one saw it was him.
***I didn't know the American version of the series was *that* different from the original...

He and Draco got on so well because of so many similarities but the got on with his cousin Holly Lasagne more because of likenesses in there child hood.

Twelve inches to the foot. 5'9" = three inches shorter than 6', i.e. he made himself appear about 7.5cm shorter.

This explains a lot! Didn't JKR herself say, that there are some things in the American version that were cut in the British version? For what we know, all these Mary Sues may be very much canon after all!
