We had to pay for another week at this campsite. We are having trouble having an electrician do the job. For pity’s sake the wiring is all in the wall, all they have to do is put the boxes and circuit breakers in. We are having yet another guy look at it on Saturday, we met him here at the campsite and he says he has done work on these types of thing before.
I didn’t get the lab job, or the customer service job that I interviewed for last week. Both were for very small companies. I am beginning to wonder if I am getting too dressed up, at least for the lab job. I’ve been speaking with an engineering group that is sort of a hiring agency for lab and engineering job. There is a QC-Chemist job I applied for that I’m very interested in. It is a growing company and they need people 24/7 they do a 4 day week and I really don’t care if it is an off shift. I do not have the concerns I did when Sylvia was in school.

I should be asleep by now, but I’m tossing and turning. I was pretending to be a plumber today. The ground has been really wet as it has been raining a lot, the ground is all clay and very slippery. We are going to lay down asphalt on the driveway sometime in the future, as it just gets too slippery to safely take the car up to the top. I must have walked up and down that steep hill 6 or eight times today. I had to go back to the little store at the end of our road for the parts I needed to hook the water line to the house about 3 times. I finally got it right, but by that time it was almost the end of the day, so I will finish it tomorrow. We also go the lines to hook in the shower, sinks and toilet out to the septic line. We got the pump we needed for that, but the contractor accidently ran over the tank in the ground and broke it, so he coming back to replace it. The electrician is also coming tomorrow, hopefully he can handle it. The other guy we had look at it said “he ain’t seen nothing like that before”.
In the meantime, the cats have new titles; they are now known as the “hair-pigs” so that we will be able to enter them in the county fair.
