Tea Fire
An out of control brush fire swept through town last week and Santa Barbara almost burned to the ground. As it was, it was just a bunch of Westmont students out to have some fun who just managed to burn down part of their own campus and 200 multi-million dollar homes.
Here's a view of fire last Thursday night from the street in front of my house.
And as I was raking leaves in my yard last weekend I found this cinder in the back yard. Perhaps it was a shingle from the roof of somebody's house, or maybe a piece of charred 2x4 that was carried by the wind to my yard? Thankfully, it didn't set my yard on fire.
