Hissy little things
I just heard a raucous on the back deck and found four baby raccoons and their mamma on my deck eating (rather fighting over) kitty food. Vicous little devils, but oh so cute.
I came home the week before last and found a possum on the bench eating kitty food. I had to stop and really examine this creature up close. I've seen them plenty of times before, but not up close. Their paws look like human fingers, very interesting.
Reminds me of one night living on Captial Hill, 2nd floor bedroom, I awoke to sounds of a possum coming into my bedroom. There I was butt naked with a hanger trying to get the thing out. It looked at me sideways with its beady red eye and hissed. I almost laughed, but well there I was naked, tired and wanting to get back to bed.
