Happy Friday
Last Friday was fun... my sister and I went to see Penn & Teller. We saw them in Las Vegas a long time ago (ten years or more). It was fun, they did a few tricks I remember from the Vegas act... the only annoying thing was a woman a few rows back saying loudly, "Oh my God! Ronnie did you see that? Oh my God, how are they doing that?" Poor Ronnie in a much quieter voice would try and calmer her down, with "it's magic, honey". It didn't work.
So trying to head to the car was slow going because folks weren't moving. It was then I saw that Penn was taking pictures and signing autographs. Since we weren't moving, we took some pictures using my sister's phone.
Anyone with a Sony ebook reader probably got the notice that Sony was closing down the Sony ebookstore March 20th. Today I got the email with the link to move my Sony library over to Kobobooks. Seems it only transferred 48 out of 62 books. No love for Josh Lanyon because apparently Kobo doesn't sell his titles. No love for free books of Sony either. Mind you some of the other 14 titles were dreck. But it's fine, I have them on my computer at home. As you can probably tell with only 62 books I didn't buy from the Sony ebookstore much anyway.
